Intel Inside is coming to smartphones too. The chip maker who is presently refocusing their attention to mobile device markets is coming out as Lenovo is about to unveil their K800 Smartphone.
Now, as per sources close to Lenovo, the company is planning to announce their K800 Smartphone next week. Don?t rejoice much since it will first hit the Chinese market before reaching out to other global markets.
Apparently, that makes the second Smartphone device to claim its soul chips made at Intel?s inventories following Lava Xolo 900, which was launched in Indian markets last month.
However, Intel will have more presence in the mobile devices market in the near future as companies like Orange, Motorola, and ZTE are almost finishing their smartphones running on Intel processor chips. They will unveil these devices in the coming weeks and months.
Just to refresh you, K800 comes with a 1.6GHz Atom processor coupled with a 400MHz graphics chip clock. The rig also features a 4.5-inch 720 x 1280 display and HDMI-out.
To make it so special, Lenovo has added Intel wireless display technology which enables the Smartphone to stream video to a compatible HDTV.
To offer contact-free electronic payments, the new Smartphone from Lenovo also brings along near-field communication (NFC).? Interestingly, the phone is running on Android -based Lenovo LeOS user interface to suit the needs of the local Chinese market.
The rig which supports HSPA+ is heading to China Unicom?s network. However, the pricing for Lenovo K800 is still not available.
